Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8/8/2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Trellis account and using our services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Trellis is a supply chain platform organized into individual modules — Loadr (freight), Ordr (procurement), Stockr (inventory), Makr (manufacturing), and Dealr (contracts) — each covered by these terms and its own module-specific billing described below.
2. Description of Service
Loadr lets shippers post and track their own freight shipments — origin, destination, timing, and status through pickup and delivery. It is a shipment-tracking tool for your own operations, not a marketplace; Loadr does not connect you with carriers or facilitate any agreement with a third-party carrier.
3. Account and Payment
You must provide accurate information when signing up. A Trellis account itself is free to create. Payment is owed only for the modules you turn on, billed according to each module's usage-based terms below. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for usage incurred.
Team seats
Team seats are free and unlimited. You may invite any number of teammates to your account at no additional cost — only the modules you turn on are billed.
Usage-Based Modules (Loadr, Ordr, Stockr, Makr, Dealr)
Every module has no subscription fee and no per-seat charge. You add a payment method (or accept an Enterprise quote) once per module, then are billed monthly in arrears for that module's usage during the previous month at the published tiered rate — shipments tracked (Loadr), purchase orders sent (Ordr), active SKUs on file (Stockr), work orders released (Makr), or contracts executed (Dealr). If you remove your payment method, that module will be frozen until you add a valid one in Settings. You may create and edit records in a module before adding a payment method; only the action that creates new billable usage is gated.
Enterprise Plan
Enterprise tiers (available on every module at high volume) are billed at the end of each billing cycle based on actual usage during the previous month at a custom quoted rate. You will not be charged when you accept your quote; charges are applied after each billing period ends. You must have an active payment method on file in Stripe to use an Enterprise tier. If you remove your payment method, that module will be frozen until you add a valid payment method in Settings.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Loads canceled before delivery do not count toward your monthly shipment total. Usage-based charges already invoiced are non-refundable. You may stop using any module at any time; you remain responsible for usage already invoiced.
5. Freight Responsibility
Trellis is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged products associated with a shipment tracked through Loadr. Loadr is a record-keeping and tracking tool for freight you arrange yourself — we do not take possession of, transport, handle, or broker any freight, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with a carrier. You accept full responsibility for your shipments, including but not limited to proper packaging, insurance, and any loss, theft, damage, or delay that occurs during transportation.
6. Limitation of Liability
Trellis is a software platform for tracking and managing your own supply chain operations. We are not responsible for the performance of any third party you engage (including carriers), freight loss or damage, or any disputes arising from your own arrangements with third parties. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
